Terms of Service
Effective date: July 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of PrintInvoice at printinvoice.app (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
PrintInvoice is a web application for creating, printing, downloading, and emailing invoices, managing clients, and tracking payments. You can use it without an account (with data stored locally in your browser) or with a free account (with data stored securely in the cloud).
2. Free plan
The free plan allows you to create up to 3 invoices per calendar month, with full print and PDF download. Free invoices include a small "Created with printinvoice.app" line in the invoice footer. We may adjust free plan limits over time; we will not retroactively reduce access to invoices you have already created.
3. Premium
- Yearly plan — $49 USD/year. Auto-renews annually until cancelled. You can cancel anytime and keep Premium access until the end of the current billing period. No partial-period refunds unless required by law.
- Lifetime plan — $79 USD one-time. A single payment for Premium access for the lifetime of the Service. It never renews and there is nothing to cancel.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; their terms apply to the payment transaction. Premium includes unlimited invoices, removal of the footer branding, logo upload, and PDF/CSV report exports.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create fraudulent, deceptive, or fake invoices, or invoices for goods or services that were not actually provided or agreed upon.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk email through the invoice-emailing feature.
- Violate any applicable law, including tax, consumer-protection, and anti-fraud laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or to the Service's infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the invoices, client records, and other content you create. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the invoices you issue, including correct tax rates and registration numbers for your jurisdiction. PrintInvoice does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — please keep copies of important invoices.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrintInvoice and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $10 USD if you paid nothing).
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time by emailing support@printinvoice.app. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
