Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 22, 2026
This policy explains what information PrintInvoice ("we", "us") collects when you use printinvoice.app (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, which we use to sign you in and to contact you about your account.
- Invoice and client data. The content you create — invoices, line items, client names and contact details, company settings, tax registration numbers — is processed so the Service can function. It is stored in your account only when you use the authenticated application.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used (pages viewed, features used, approximate location, device type). Funnel events exclude invoice and customer content. Advertising storage is disabled, and supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals disable analytics storage and suppress our funnel-event delivery. Google Analytics may otherwise set cookies. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Where your data is stored
Account data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, and is protected by row-level security so that only your account can access your invoices, clients, and settings.
If you use the direct invoice editor or Demo Mode without a cloud account, your invoice and client data is processed locally in your browser. The direct editor and Demo Mode may retain local data in browser storage so it can survive a refresh. This data does not leave your device unless you choose an action that explicitly sends or saves it. If you request an email sign-in link from the direct editor and open it in the same browser, the saved draft is copied into your authenticated account. Clearing browser storage before that completes may delete the local draft.
Email sending
When you email an invoice to a client from the Service, the message and its PDF attachment are delivered through a third-party transactional email provider. The recipient address and invoice content are shared with that provider solely to deliver the email.
Payments
Premium purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. Your payment card details are collected and processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy — we never see or store your card information. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy applies to the payment process.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your invoice or client data for advertising.
- We do not send marketing email without your consent.
Optional product emails
If you choose to subscribe, we may send occasional PrintInvoice product news and promotional discounts. Subscription is optional and is not required to use the Service. You can withdraw your consent at any time from Email Preferences in the app or through the unsubscribe link in any promotional message. We keep a record of your preference so we can honor your choice.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete invoices and clients in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, use our and we will remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and similar laws), you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Export your data in a portable format.
